I just bought a 14' V6S. I would suggest doing a pre-purchase inspection to see if the car is in good shape / well maintained. I did some research prior to buying the car, overall it seems to be reliable (not like a Toyota, but at least comparable to German brands) as long as the maintenance schedule is followed. Besides mechanical, you may also want to check the interior condition and cabin noise. With my F-type, there are some little annoyances (non-critical) like active exhaust squeaks, squeaky seats, squeaky panels, sticky interior buttons...etc. that bothers me sometimes, but I don't plan to keeping the car super long-term so it's probably not worth the effort fixing them.

If you want less headache, get a base model.
