Thank you, normally first thing I do is buy a second steering wheel and have it sent to out to be made to my specs, but I like this wheel. with the exception of the Porsche I normally drive the car a month or so and see what I want to alter. I have learned my lessons over the years I put over 130K into building that Porsche (not including the price of the car) and what I have is a car that is basically worthless to anyone but me. I am hoping to have the FType by Wednesday I think they still have it up on the Jaguar of the Main Line website (it is the only 2017 coupe they have), it is marked sold but I doubt they have taken it down yet. I have to replace the black front lip on the Porsche every three months since it is so low it scrapes everywhere so not sure about lowering this car. Next thing I usually look at is wheel and tire weight, but I am getting ahead of myself.

I understand that Porsche fans and engineers value continuity, but 911 exterior is very stale. Especially to a layman, they can't tell apart 10 year old Boxster and brand new 911 GT3.

I think that's a big plus for many Porsche fans. It's also one reason (among many) that the resale value of 911s, Caymans, and Boxsters is incredibly strong.

I agree with Foosh. If you have a good design, one that is considered iconic, why reinvent the wheel? Detroit has always been the other extreme and not to their credit. I think the C2 or C6 Corvette body style could have withstood 20 years, both beautiful. The C3 was horrid. I also dislike the C7. To the point on this forum, the F-Type could/should be a long-lasting look...one gorgeous automobile.

You have to qualify this statement - it is big plus to many 10 year old Boxster fans.

I think one of the reasons classic Carreras prices through the roof is that you could tell them apart from the rest. They have distinctive style.

I think the new targa looks quite sexy...almost as sexy as the f-type but does fall short.


I actually liken the f type to more of a hot rod 930 turbo experience. like the 930, the f feels like a hot rod...a brute. delivers power hard. the f type looks simply lovely and combined with the grunt, makes for a really memorable drive!


few cars for the money can compete with the f performance. even fewer can match up in style.


f type represents so much win!!!

I love both but just like a lot of you have already said the Porsche is the better track tool but they are everywhere. I like the style and rarity of the F Type. If for some reason F Type's start popping up everywhere like the 911's though i'll be getting something else. Even though there in a whole different price range I've already been looking at used Huracan's and 458's.

I doubt F-types are ever going to be that common. Even where I live it's a rare occasion when I spot even one. Two and I play the PowerBall. 911s are everywhere though.
