It is a diagram of the XK or maybe XF axle stand points, you only need to look at the rear exhaust and muffler layout to see it is not from an F-Type.
The front jacking points shown are miles out they are in fact just inboard of the sills however the rear jacking points are correct (smack in the middle of three bolts that stick out of a triangular shaped chassis piece).
There is no diagram in the Owner Manual and all it says is:
"There are 4 jacking points on the underside of the floor. Two indented, triangular indicators are provided on each sill cover. These indicate
the location for the jack."
Look/feel along the underside of the sills and you will find those little triangle shaped indents
Tip - the jacking points are fairly small, too small for the "large" head that many trolley jacks come with, if you only have that type of trolley jack you should use a "puck" on/in the head of the jack.

The jacking points and axle stand points are exactly the same for the V6 and the V8.

I don't think anyone on this forum will recommend or encourage caliper covers. Which brakes do you currently have? You can always paint them or upgrade to a larger caliper and rotor as there are 4 OEM options for the F Type.

Hi, I have a 2016 F-Type, base, with V6 ..... I have decided to either keep them the cleaned up Grey metal, and or, RED pad cover, OEM , ...
as I can see them, plenty of room between my 8 spoke 18" OEM wheels and the face of the calipers ... going to be a Fall project.

The OEM Jaguar pad cover in RED is not an option for the 18" Base model....wheels.... arggggggh

Hi, yes, I agree and understand. I did get the wheels and calipers scrubbed and they now look pretty good. Changing the calipers is not in my budget, and also to keep the car as original is best.

Can anyone explain why they would recommend against brake caliper covers?

Because all the ones I have seen are cheap plastic junk that will likely fall off or melt or both, and close up look like the crap that they are.
I suppose decent quality good looking metal ones might exist but I have never read or heard of or seen any.

The ones I have seen online for sale are listed as powder coated aluminum, which surprised me as I thought they were plastic til I read description. The one company says they are help on by a clip, which worries me as u said about them falling off.

For me personally, they all look like hot garbage. They are easily noticed as "fake brakes". Like one of those Pontiac Fiero - Ferrari Testarossa kit cars. Although many claim otherwise, I'd also be concerned with heat dissipation. The last thing you want is for your brakes not to cool down efficiently.

That's why I started my own venture towards upgrade of the front calipers and rotors.

Work in progress based on AMG 6-pots...

Hi, yes... after digging into the clip on, screw on covers.... of others' , I have determined that to stay with the OEM "look" of
the Gray calipers, (properly cleaned.... work ! ) is the only option. Buying the $$$$ x 4 larger diameter rotors, then add $$$
new rims.... + installation at the Dealer... nooooooo, I am very pleased with the clean look of my 18" wheels set up.

Nice. Would like to see a write up on this when completed.

See attached for the red paint look. Personally think it looks clean and sharp on the larger 380mm brake system. Has held up v well for 6 years now.
