Default 2016 F Type R Tune and Supercharger Pulley vs. Stock

Don't think there is much more power to be had? Well, there is about a 40whp gain here and 50wtrq making this car a bit more enjoyable than it already is!

I am the owner of the car above...

Soo here is my question to all the guys that have much more experience with these cars...

The car went 11.4 @ 120 mph. I did 7 runs down the track and all runs were 11.4-11.5 @ 120 mph.

My question is... Why is the trap speed not higher? Most people are testing this car at ~11.7 @ 122 mph stock. I have a supercharger pulley and tune with 40-50+ horsepower to the wheels over stock. Not to mention the lighter than stock at around 10 lbs less per corner (stock size) ADV1 wheels... yet I'm still "only" trapping 120 mph?

Stock tires at stock psi, then lowered to 33, then lowered to 29... Same result. The car is DEFINITELY VERY CONSISTENT at least.

Car runs strong and feels good but to me this definitely doesn't make much sense. Any thoughts??? Track maybe reading slow mph???

Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX this past Saturday- Oct 22 at 2:30pm.
77 degrees, DA was 1252.

I REALLY want to get that trap speed up! =)

SIDENOTE: VBOX shows nearly identical times except 3 mph (123mph) faster. Also for reference, stock VBOX reading was 11.79 @ 120 mph.

The overdrive pulley is giving you more torque at lower engine speeds giving you better 0-60 times, but not necessarily giving you similar advantage at higher engine speeds as you shift into the higher gears. Shifting below redline may give you better trap speeds.

Thanks for the reply... Where I'm confused is looking at the Dyno (never mind the very high reading numbers) and look at the gains over stock... It's getting more power all throughout the entire powerband and rpm range.

Suggestions on how to raise that trap speed considerably?

Don't look at power. Look at the torque numbers. Try shifting @ 6200 instead of 6800.

I'll give that a try... I thought in most cases running to redline was the better opition due to lower gearing with less torque vs higher gearing and more torque. I watched a video of a guy break it down. Something on YT titled "when to shift" or something like that.
