2016 Jaguar Lobster Run

Not Part Of Lobster Run But Today's Lunch, from Union
It's a bit decadent (in other words, over the top) but today's lunch at Union was BLT with shaved black truffle. A lot of shaved black truffle. The Executive Chef, my friend Josh Berry - who is planning our Saturday evening dinner - likes to push the envelope and while the photo doesn't do the sandwich justice (and I need a nap) it's just one more image for you to contemplate our May event.
Then again, as someone mentioned to me; don't get your hopes up.

You do realize TXJagR that the "planned" lunch for The 2016 Jaguar Lobster Run on the Saturday after our visit to Owls Head Transportation Museum is Lobster Club Sandwiches? A sandwich which beat Bobby Flay on his Throwndown series. You might want to bring - or ship ahead - a pair of pants one size bigger.

When I drove cross-country, twice, in an Acura NSX the "official" song we used was Willie Nelson's On The Road Again. Way too obvious for my tastes but then again I was in charge of principal high-jinx, photography, and, of course, food.
The B 52's Rock Lobster is also too obvious - for the Lobster Run - and we're talking Maine lobster, not rock lobster. Love the idea of Pink Floyd's Welcome To The Machine and "loves to drive in his Jag-U-R", but that too won't work.
Suggestions welcome.

Good one U. That made me laugh. While music isn't my profession, there isn't a day which goes by without music playing in my home, in my office, and, yes, even in my car(s). Someone will come up with something, obvious or not.

Along those lines:
Not that any of us needs an F-Type...although I could be wrong

While I'm driving these will be my theme songs...
Do you think the yellow jumpsuit would be appropriate for Thursday's lobster dinner?
And one more that doesn't apply to you East Coast guys, but since I'm headed east...
Take note of the important lyrical remaster for the 2016 version of this old classic!
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin'
We gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there
I'm east bound, just watch ol' bandit run
Keep your foot hard on the peddle, son, never mind them brakes
Let it all hang out 'cause we've got a run to make
The boys are hungry in Dallas and there's Lobster in Maine
And we'll go eat it no matter what it takes
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin'
We gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there
I'm east bound, just watch ol' bandit run
