Default 2016/R vs 2017/R

Fellow members: I just purchased a 2017/R AWD COUPE to keep my 2016/R AWD Convertible company. ( My wife likes convertibles and I like Coups )
Is there any difference anywhere between these 2 vehicles. If so, I'm not seeing it. Other than the Black Package. Thanks

I think 2018 was when things changed a bit.

You might find the infotainment is slightly different, but it depends on whether your '16 got the newer system anyway. Mine was a late '15 build but a '16MY update (which they called 16.5 over here) and has the newer system, rather than the system which looked like the newer system but actually was the black and white screen system in disguise (which some '16 model years have).

And there is a lovely lady in the second car.

They sure look the same, other than the power vent and window trim. Very nice!

I’ve been trying to figure out the answer to this for some time and from what I found there is no actual difference between models

I have a 2016 and thought that in 2017 they did a slight change in the infotainment system as well as the 17 they improved the coolant lines. I could be wrong but believe those are 2 differences.

From what i can see the infotainment is exactly the same and 2018 was the update for infotainment

Just slightly newer aluminium and plastics. And a younger cow…
