2017 Coupe door rattle SOLVED

We are all annoyed by squeaks and rattles in our Fs and I suffered from that as well, at least, did. For about a year I attempted to track down the source of a plastic-ky rattle in my passenger/right side door. It took several viewings of a Forum member's YT post that I felt comfortable taking the door panel off, or at the least, being able to loosen it to look up into it.
I assembled all my plastic trim tools and magnetic bowl for safeguarding the screws.
The panel screws were just as described in the video.. I then carefully inserted the tools to pop the panel loose.
My first thought was that it was loose pigtail flopping around, but that was not the case. What it turned out to be was one of the panel fixing 'rivets'. While the other 'rivets' were all tight in their slots on the interior door panel, there was one that was loose, in the spot closest to the door hinge. When touched, it rattled and made the noise that I heard. The rivets are supposed to just slide into their mounting on the door panel (last photo) but when I tried to get it out to replace it, was unsuccessful. I have made good use of adhesive backed craft felt, (JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, etc) and cut out a circle with a small hole and mounted it on the actual door metal, around the hole that this plastic rivet fits in to. (see photo, red circle. This photo is of a left/driver door, however). I took 3 test drives and on all three, noise gone. Hope this helps someone else!
