Default 2017 F-Type SVR discount (incentive)

For members of JCNA you may wish to check out the "Private Offer" if you have not looked lately. Currently there is a $5000 incentive on this model!

Yeah, it is great discount. How much are dealers discounting off the MSRP? Something like 15-20%? Add this ontop and you have a great deal.

Just FYI, you need to be a JCNA member for at least 6 months before getting this discount. No exceptions it seems.

I would've gotten one if I had the money ready and didn't already get a lesser model. Maybe I'll try it on the 2018 SVR next year .

They used to give that on R's before SVR's came along.

I hope this isn't obvious, but how do you join JCNA? My local chapter has not responded to request to join. Thanks in advance.

Halcyon at this point we are just barely able to contact some of our members in Houston and it is not good (weather and flooding). That said if you have tried before and had no joy I suspect you are using some old address. Take a look at this Contact Us ? Jaguar Club of Houston.
There are E mail addresses as well as phone numbers which do work! It is a vibrant and welcoming club and unless there is some "history" I assure you they simply are not getting your email. They also have a post address! I am perhaps from the old school and until I give up I try every avenue. That said you can also join as a MAL (member at large) until the floods allow car stuff to once become a priority. To do that you can look it up or call 888-258-2524 and I assure you you will be answered.

Yes you have to be a member for 180 days but really is that an issue? As far as the incentive the most we have seen on any model F-Type to this point has been $2500--They were offering 5K on last years XJs but only XJs.

I appreciate the reply. I have tried twice over the last six months using the email address on the JCNA website for Houston. I have not tried since the onslaught of the hurricane so that is not the problem. I will look for alternative emails in a week or so and then if no response will pursue becoming a Member at Large. My intent is to trade my F Type R for a SVR in the coming months.

Thanks.

Well I would encourage you to just pick up the phone--all of the contact numbers are listed--e mail is wonderful but not the only tool in the box.

Fair point, but I fear direct human contact.

Well I suggest you join as a member at large. We know that there are folks in that situation--or Idaho. JCNA clubs are by nature social and exchange information etc. Some folks just want the low hanging fruit. Either way you would be welcome.

Is the $5000 incentive for SVRs not normal and year long?

Mystic SVRs are normally not included. As far as how long that is not up to JCNA but JLR. The "program" will last to the next FY but the incentives may change. That is why it is a live feed for the PIN program. If in the market I would check weekly!

I'm definitely in the market but it's unfortunate that you can only receive the discount after being a part of JCNA for 6 months.

Blame the dealerships that abused the system to milk money out of JLR.

Thanks for all the info!
I'm considering the svr, but my Jcna membership won't hit six months till the end of the year. What is j jag's fy? Does it end in December or March?
Are there any restrictions on using it for a lease?

FY is April 1 to Mar 31. Remember stock may be exhausted and the offers can and do change. The lease terms are posted on the site but it looks like the discount is the same.
Hope everything is still in place for you at the end of the year.
