Is it good etiquette to use the elevation correction factor?

Most people don't have to, but you're one of the lucky few to have a drag strip above 2000 ft. That correction factor however seems a bit optimistic.

Is there a "recognized" correction factor table on-line with more accurate numbers?

My personal opinion is that everything is just a guess until it's printed on a time slip. I know that doesn't help you because you can't easily run at sea level. Typically, cars with your mods run ~11.2 at sea level in optimal conditions.
