Hi Selko,
Our fearless leader Jay ('RickyJay52') is busy doing quality assurance at one of the restaurants we'll be hitting (including sampling the wine), so he asked me to reply.
He has room for 2-3 more cars, and perhaps 4-6 more people, so you're in if you want to be.
PM me your email address, and I'll put you in touch with Jay for more info.
Welcome aboard!

Greetings Selko92. Welcome to the F-Type Forum and congratulations on your car!
The event is open to F-Type's only (so you already qualify; and being from my hometown of NYC is an added plus) and it kicks off on Thursday August 2 @ 6:00 PM in Portland, Maine. I've arranged for a fabulous group rate @ $249 per night, plus taxes (it's usually $469+) at The Hyatt Place Old Port Portland. The event ends Sunday August 5 @ around Noon and this will be the third event I've hosted (and quite likely my last). You won't get a lot of sleep on this journey but it should be quite memorable.
Without going into specifics - which I am not at liberty to publicly post (due to some surprises and places not usually open to the general public) - it will consist of great food, some spirited driving, wonderful camaraderie...for the most part; a little inside joke there...and who-knows-what-else?
As it currently stands, we have 13 F-Types attending and 22-23 people (or is that 24-26? Depends on whether some participants have a co-pilot or not). So there is room for 2-3 more cars and 4-6 more people. I could handle more cars but I'm kinda limited to 30 people based on the restaurants we are going to.
Please let me know if you think you might still be interested.
Not bad for 3 glasses of wine.

Thank you DJS. And it wasn't sampling, but drinking. The same fine Italian wine; 3 full glasses and an Italian lunch to die for. Hopefully I won't.

Bektic: I will reach out to you later today. In the meantime, please see post #59 to register with the Hyatt. (I do hope your co-pilot is your girlfriend, or wife, as I got the previous attendee the last Double Queen beds they have for our dates). In the words of DJS, welcome aboard.
P.S. thanks Graham!

I'm looking forward to seeing other f types. Cross referencing the wortec custom rotor thread, it appears we will have at least one f type with this upgrade, assuming all goes well. Also, another member is upgrading their speakers. The cars should have a lot to talk about while the humans are not around.

The past two events we did visit Owls Head Transportation Museum - I will assume you know about it? - but not this year. (We’ll be close). Primo’s great (I love Melissa) but I would highly recommend Suzuki’s Sushi Bar on Main Street. Not only some of the very best sushi/sashimi I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot) but one of the favorite places I’ve ever been. Maybe I’ll include a visit there for the 2019 Jaguar Sushi & Sashimi Run?

LOL - Maybe I can be included in the 2019 Sushi and Sashimi Run?
I know all those places very well, my folks have had a place up there for 30+ years. I usually am at OHTM for the Vintage Motorcycle Meet. Oh, and I agree Melissa is pretty awesome. Hope you all have great weather and a spirited run...I'll be on the lookout.

I’ve actually thought, both past years I’ve hosted an event here in Maine, of including Suzuki’s - yes, it’s that amazing (my wife and I go about once a month) - but it was just not in the cards; never mind I’m not so sure all attendees love sushi/sashimi the way I do.
Here’s a splendid picture - one of many from our “Official” Photographer DJS - of us last year at OHTM:

No worries, the wife and I will leave the kids with their grandparents and meet you two for some sushi this summer.

Excellent! Everything rings right - especially the Uni (sea urchin), my favorite, the Tamago (egg custard)...I even have my own Tamago pan...the Amaebi (sweet raw shrimp) and the Toro (fatty tuna). The only possible thing out of place is the tea, as one shouldn’t mix hot with the sushi/sashimi; and, of course, that’s just personal preference.
Having said that, I applaud the picture!
