2020 VS 2021 F-Type Exterior Interior Comparison
#21
like i said before, change for the sake of change. it's like the frog in the pot of water that's getting hotter, before he knows it, it's too late. the F Type is turning into a 4 door XE as stmcknig said above and that's not a good thing. what they SHOULD have done, IMO, is address reliability concerns. i'm not saying reliability is a problem, i just bought my F Type and I had an XF before that, but perceived reliability issues are what holds back sales, not stale designs. JLR should have saved the $ on the update and put it into improving the engine's cooling plumbing or fixing the crappy entertainment interface. that stuff matters.
the marketing campaign of "we addressed the important issues" would sell more cars than "look, our grille is rounder and the headlights are flatter", especially since the cosmetic changes are bad.

My loaded MY 2015 V6S was over $220,000 AU new and I would struggle to get $70,000 AU for it now (55k kilometres).

Especially as I own it outright, it has been 99% trouble free and very easy and cheap to service and maintain.

Yeah, but it was a different time. That era is gone. The next F-type will most likely be electric and boring. It is already boring design-wise with this new poorly thought out facelift. I doubt there will ever be a successor to top the 2013-2020 F-types. Beautiful, distinct looks, big V8 or even a manual with the V6. It's only downhill from now on.

I'm not and I still like the new show.
It has a smattering of Star Wars themes in it (such as Storm Troopers, baddies that can't shoot straight to save their lives and goodies that never miss) but not much really.
It stands on it's own and the special effects and CGI blow Star Wars into the weeds.
Oh, forgot to add, lots of droids and a cute baby Yoda. Any more would be giving the game away!

Concerning the new steering wheel, the one in my older Touran looks even better. What I found in this high resolution pictures also, now the leather is perforated on the hand grip section of the new 2021 steering wheel. For me this is nonsense as I was never having any problem with grip on a leather covered steering wheel. But this will accumulate dirt very quickly, specially driving under hot conditions or worser, driver with sweating problems.

I can even not understand what damaged brain had the idea to show a picture of the car on the instrument cluster.
