Hello all, I did a search but can't seem to find and answer so I am reaching out to the forum. I am looking at ordering a 2022 (anyone know of dealer with allocation?) and found a 2022 F-Type in the US inventory that meets 98% of my criteria. The one thing that I personally do not like is that it has the black exterior package. I LOVE the silver grill surround, the silver script and leaper, and the silver side vent leaper- I can live with the rest of the black. So the big question is does anyone have any idea of what the cost might be to make these changes on a brand new F-type. I know this might sound crazy and it might be worth a few grand to me to not wait until a potential Aug. delivery. Thanks Robert
Good morning Walko789,
I ordered my '22 specifically with the black pack because I prefered that over the chrome. In fact, I'm looking to get rid of the chrome on my '17 XJL in favor of the black pack. I waited 6 months to get my car exactly the way I wanted it (ordered in March; arrived in September). That said, I sure wish that I had had it for the whole summer. As a result, if it truly has 98% of everything you want and the only difference are the few black bits, I would get it and drive it. You will not be sorry. After a while, you can see if the black grows on you or if you choose to change it. My 2 cents.
Thank you for the input. I am fortunate that I have been able to spoil myself by ordering several of my vehicles hence the hesitation for "only" 98%-LOL
Nice pair you have there and I agree- the full black is sharp!

There truly is no replacement for getting exactly what you want rather than "settling" if I can actually use that word in regards to an F-Type...
You will love the F-Type no matter which way you go. Can't wait to see it either way. Cheers!
