As note to others staying at the Tapoco Lodge, I called to make a dinner reservation for 4 on Sat night, but they said to call back after 3/11.

 

Yes, in our excitement, we sent the welcome letter out ahead of the Lodge's Tavern reopening date, so you are correct. Please call in after this date to make reservations. Thank you for the heads up here!

 

I know it has been a little bit since our last update, although we did recently send out a survey link and welcome letter part 2 if you have not already reviewed it. (check your email). After some time away for my anniversary, I am back in the office this week and wanted to provide a few updates.



First and foremost, we have finalized our sponsor list and working to get sign off on a few marketing pieces so we can post up a link to our shirt design for this years event. Secondly, we've also recently confirmed our raffle prize drawing location. Immediately following dinner on the evening of May 14th, we will be hosting a fireside raffle prize drawing at the Tapoco Lodge! We are excited to have this area for our participants and should make for great conversation and end of day festivities, including our raffle drawings.

The bigger items are of course certificates to redeem at later date, so you don't have to make room for them. We decided to list the prizes as one of the goals is to raise money for Dreamcars4kids.org and so if participants know what is at stake, they may be more inclined to throw in a $25, $50 or $100 donation to try and win something they were already in the market for. Regardless, the first 50 drivers will also receive a free welcome swag bag, that includes a backpack, filled with goodies from our sponsors as well. I will save the anticipation on what you get free though, but the swag bags alone are worth $100 and all you need to do is be one of the 1st 50 drivers to receive one.

 

Here is the shirt design as well. Available for sale soon. Working on quality checking one as these are print on demand.

 

The t shirt alone may make me a last minute addition.

Merch store went live today. While all details are listed on the respective item pages, the event shirt itself is being sold at cost (covers shirt, printing, credit card and processing fees), plus $3.99 per item for shipping and local sales tax. As we are working with an on-demand production company, turn-around time is about 2-3 weeks for delivery. Cut off if you want an event shirt prior to May 14th, is you must place your order by Friday, April 15th. Shirts are completely optional, just a nice to have if interested. All sales are final, no refunds, exchanges or returns.

Any chance of adding a color other than black for the shirts?

 

Currently only offering it in the black color. There is a blue and heather gray option for the F-Type Forever Logo Tee if you’d prefer a different color but does not include the sleeve or back printed details.

 

I've made a dinner reservation for Saturday at the Tapoco Lodge. So, if anyone needs 1-3 spots for the group dinner, PM me.
