I really like this car- quite the caged beast- Ive come to piece with modulating the exhaust and offending only a few people with the noise. This car does want to run and extreme care is needed to keep from getting nicked.
Ive come from the Porsche world. I don't miss the arrogant owners who frown on anything "lesser" I didn't fit in there. Unlike the Porsche with a flip of a switch this car becomes a tame yet powerful cruiser. My wife actually likes going out for a drive she used to sigh when I took out the Porsche. Too noisy inside, huge tire noise and lithotripsy quality suspension made it uncomfortable for any longer drives. (the sport mode only made all this even more offensive)
Went for a drive to Bedford today, 150 miles rt, saw no f types plenty of 911s. My wife actually said she didn't realize this car must be special. Parked at Bear Mtn watched people go over to it and take cell phone pics. Leaving a parking lot we got a big thumbs up from a dad with his kids. Another guy in an X6 circled me on the highway and thumbs upped out the window before moving on. There were a ton of bikers out got two thumbs up from bikers on Harleys and one from a guy on a crotch rocket who came out of nowhere and then disappeared the same way. Most of the time in the Porsche, people waved a digit at me but it wasn't the thumb.
