Default About to modify my 15 R Coupe

Just made some major investments to modify my close to perfect F-type R.

The (almost) only thing missing was this:
.

It seems like a good idea, but I bet you'll notice the increased weight. Be prepared to be disappointed in this mod the next time you are at the track. :-p

Google "Jaguar Valve Stem Caps," and you will find them everywhere like here:

I would hope that the cat always stays vertical like RR center hubs.

I stopped by the dealer today and saw them there. They were less than $50 for the pack, so I could not resist Actually nice quality and way better than the grey plastic ones that came with the car.

The OEMs are only $16 on Amazon (link above) from JLR of Columbia (SC).

Good suggestions. Buying them from the dealer is probably stupid, but delivery time was instant

And since I imported the car myself from Germany, I need to do what I can to build up a good relationship with the service department at the dealer where I live (they are only two minutes away from my house)..... Any small talk is a good talk

Indeed, the $30 extra was money well spent toward developing a relationship w/ a dealer, which is often worth a sizable sum at some point in the future.

I went with the "growler" lug nuts. It feels like they took 1/2 second off the 0-60 time.

I prefer the cheap plastic valve stem caps. Three years and haven't had one stolen yet. Can't say that about the chrome kind.

I got the Union Jack ones and while I don't feel faster I do feel a slight yearning to drive on the left side of the road.

Agreed. A nice, friendly relationship with the person on the other side of the counter is worth a lot, regardless of which side of the counter you're one (I've been on both). It's worth a few impulse buys like this to establish that for the time no one can figure out which of two possibilities you want, so they order both for you with no deposit, and you leave with only the right part.

You understand that they all have to be pointing in the same direction, right?

Outward? Doesn't seem like that big of a problem.
