About to order a new F Type R?

My dealer had a Bluefire Blue convertible in their showroom when I was ordering my car. Pictures don't do the color justice, it was very striking in person. Someone posted a photo of a set of paint samples that a dealership had some time ago. But I don't think that is a common tool at most showrooms. The scarcity of inventory makes it difficult to envision what the car will really look like with a certain paint on it. The Xirallic colors particularly have the tendency to change depending upon the lighting.
There is one option, Land Rover offers their vehicles in a few similar colors to Jaguar. You may be able to see a Land Rover at the same dealership to get an idea of the true paint color. Although it seems that all the Land Rovers my dealer had were either white, Eiger Gray, Carpathian Gray or Santorini Black.

I was exactly where you are in my decision process. I as well wanted, well not a Porsche or any other car that I see so often. I searched for the one I found 2019 R Conv. I had never had a convertible and knowing how this car looks and sounds I just felt I would be very happy with it. Honestly, it is and has been so much more. Its a blast to drive, to listen to and a real head turner. Its fun, powerful and not repetitive on the road good luck.

I've had the car for about a year and a half, 2500 miles (hibernates all winter), and it's always exciting getting behind the wheel. It really is a joy to drive. It's also my first bright colored car... lol. It definitely gets attention as most people have never seen an F Type R let alone a yellow one. Even the local dealership had folks come out to take pics of it when I brought it in for service.
Speaking of service, the only issue I've had was a faulty BSM and rear alert sensor. It never worked from delivery. That's been fixed, no other issues to report.
I pulled the active exhaust fuse and the sound is amazing with lots of pops and crackles. One reason I'll never buy an EV.
