Default ABS Error Troubleshooting

I need assistance on a C1B02 ABS Return Pump Circuit error. Does someone know the fuse number controlling this circuit and/or the wire color? Thank you in advance.

There should be two numbers at the end of that code, i.e. C1B02-14, C1B02-16, C1B02-49 etc...the last two digits can mean quite different faults, makes it hard to chase down otherwise.

...3 different scanners and none of them provided the additional numbers. I was looking at the troubleshooting guides and they were quite different for each, but since I don't have that additional info, I am going to start with troubleshooting the circuit to make sure I don't have an issue there. I replaced the complete ABS module and wiring harness due to previous damage prior to me acquiring her, so I am hoping it blew a fuse for which I am not aware and it will be that simple. If not blown, then I can trace the wiring to the module and make sure there is not an issue with the new harness. Hence the desire to know the fuse and wire color. After that, I will start on the next line of troubleshooting...

F18 in the engine bay fuse panel
30A Green Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) valves <<=== see below, Valve Supply to ABS module

F5 in the passenger compartment fuse panel
5A Tan Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Steering angle sensor

They are the only two user-serviceable fuses related to ABS that are listed in the manual.

EDIT

There are additional fuses shown in the wiring diagrams.

Fuse 18EL, 30A, in the engine compartment fuse panel, feeds the Valve Supply of the ABS module
Link 2EL, 40A, in the engine compartment fuse panel, feeds the Pump Supply of the ABS module

The link is not meant to be user-serviceable, but I believe they can be swapped out.

Given that the code C1B02 relates to Pump issues, maybe that fusible link 2 is blown.

Ah ha! Thank you. I will try the 2EL tomorrow morning and hopefully that is the issue. I had found the F18 30A and it was blown and I had checked the 5A F5 and it was good. I was hoping someone had additional info...and I will let the group know the results.

Well, that was the issue. The link looked ok through the top, but when I removed it and tested it, it was open. I installed a new 40 AMP and all the errors went away. Thank you for the information provided and that is one major step closer to getting her completed.

Hi, I have just been scouring the net looking for answers to my ABS fault code C1B02-16 and came across your post. Can you tell me what it may relate to as I cannot find any information anywhere!
Thanks in advance.

Hello I have scoured the repair manual I found online but can't find the location of"Link 2EL 40A". Can anyone help me?

hey I’ve been having trouble finding any information about this code, what is causing this because no fuses are blown and nothing I’ve tried has made the fault disappear
