Default Active Exhaust on Non-Equipped Car Question

Hello all. I recently purchased a base 2016 and love it but it needs to be a bit louder. Will the muffler with active exhaust directly fit? I plan to fix the actuators in the open position. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your car has the active exhaust, just not switchable. You can pull the fuse (I believe is is #43 under the passenger side footwell fusebox) to keep the valves open all the time. Later years had fuse #15 under the hood.

The muffler on my car does not have actuators or extra pipes in the forward side of the muffler. Just the two muffler entrance pipes.

Have you considered custom installed cutouts (Zoomies as some call them)?

Interesting. It became standard across all models so it must have been 2017 or 2018.
