Default Advice please

i've got myself the standard v6 f-type. i love how the exhausts have a high pitch italian sound going on, but since it does not have the active exhausts, i do wish the loudness was a little amplified. i have been looking into resonator deletes, muffler deletes and secondary cat deletes. which, if any, would be a wise and effective choice for me? i dont want to get into exhaust systems. also dont want any potential mechanical and warranty problems on a new car of course. please point me in the right direction if u can, thanks!

Welcome to the forum Adam,

I've tidied up your posts in the Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center section. Good to see you realised the mistake!

Best to check you warranty documents but the kind of modifications you are considering would invalidate warranty in the UK and I'd be surprised if the situation is different for vehicle sold in the UAE.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST section and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Default May take 6 months to a year

When a new car comes out it generally can take from 6 months to over a year for the after market folks to step up with new parts. These aren't really high volume cars so don't be surprised if the choices are limited. Watch your warranty, here in CA they aren't allowed to void your warranty for aftermarket adds that don't impact what broke but I know this works differently in other areas. I keep looking for anything aftermarket for this car and the pickings are really slim. Check with Mina Gallery they are doing a package for the car but I didn't ask them about exhaust (I did get the active package).

Good luck and post if you find something.

A member on the XF section had installed a set of "active" mufflers on his car. That may be an easy route.

Will try to find a link
