Question After the SVR, what is the future of the F-type?

In only 3 short years, the F-type began as a V6, V6s, V8s convertible and has spawned into the V6, V6s, R coupe, project 7. and has added AWD and manual versions. 2017 will bring the halo SVR in both coupe and convertible form. I'm wondering where you guys think the model will go from there?

It would seem way to soon for a mid-model refresh, and even if that did come for 2018, what would that include? It is going to be a tall order to improve the sound and overall exterior design flow in future generations (although the automakers continue to amaze). I can't imagine that the model will remain unchanged for a good 4 or 5 years prior to the second generation F-types. Thoughts?

i think they would update the cluster and infotainment system to that of the F-Pace and new XF. Also HUD, and maybe an auto-rev match MT transmission. After driving my brother's 6 speed M4, it's hard to resist, especially with a lot of city driving.

As for the exterior I hope it remains unchanged, I feel the new side skirts and rear lip doesn't seem to flow well with the body of the car, especially color matched. As black accents however, it seems fine.

The C-X75 was scrapped but it showed that they were interested in hybrid technology so perhaps the next iteration could see some influence there especially with the current round of hyper cars being hybrids.

I've seen no evidence that the SVR will be available for 2017. Until they officially announce it I'm not holding my breath.

Looks like the Project 7 tune, and the carbon ceramic brakes as standard by those figures. And nothing else. Really was hoping for more of a weight loss. But you can bet there will be quite the premium for it.
