Default Airbag light is on

Hello!
I have an F-type 2016 which is imported from USA. When I bought it, the airbag light in the cluster did not light, but after a while it has started to light up. Not always but almost. At the rearview mirror in the roof it also says "passenger airbag off"

When I searched for instructions online to turn the airbag off/on, you can do it under Vehicle setting in the instrument cluster. But I don't have that choice and I can't find anywhere that it should be possible to disconnect it.
Some tips or ideas?
Have a good day!
Magnus

I wasn't aware you could manually switch it. There's a sensor in the passenger seat, and based on the weight it detects, it decides whether to enable or disable the passenger airbag.

Correct, I tried to sit down in the passenger seat and the light in the roof goes from "Airbag off" to "Aibag on" that working :-)
But the warning light in the instrument cluster is on...

That airbag warning in the cluster means one or more sensors are not working correctly--it doesn't indicate which one. The airbags will not deploy while that is lit up.

Agreed.
The only way I know to remove the warning light and get the SRS working again is to fix the sensor error then delete the error code, and the only way to remove an SRS error code is with the factory SDD tool.
Depending on where he is the OP may find that an SRS/airbag light on means an automatic fail of any roadworthy check, never mind that the SRS is completely disabled.
