Am I only v8 owner who wants v6 shifter...
So during my order process I spent heaps of time online checking out trim and exterior colours, and it was disappointing to find the shifter on the v8 is different to the v6
Jaguar seem to have gone with a black out theme on the v8 coupe, this includes the shifter and base being a flat black
I much prefer the satin polish finish on the v6 shifter, reminds of the way Porsche do the pdk and just looks like a higher quality item - I'm a fan of modern interior design where they trim switchgear and buttons with chrome/silver surrounds. The park brake also has a blacked out surround vs silver on the v6
After much googling, I finally found the part number online available here

The parts catalogue calls the V6 shifter "noble chrome" and the V8 one "graphite"
I don't know if they are a straight swap or not, the transmissions are different part numbers between the V6 & V8, also the mechatronics...
I suspect the shifter will be interchangeable, it was on the earlier models at least...
