"Practice" - that term has always bothered me. I don't want someone practicing on my teeth.

I'm an orthodontist, and this is my first sports car. My buddy who helped me with this purchase is a dentist who owns a Ferrari 458! But he was a great assist in introducing me to the world of sports cars.

"preferred by dentists" Research has shown that the incessant grinding of teeth as a result of anticipating monthly payments has caused an upsurge in dental patients.

I see more attorneys in Jags, than dentists - but they are usually in the four door ones. Dentistry has the highest suicide rate of many professions - maybe more of them should drive F Types

It's rather interesting. It has always been my impression that, while clients like/prefer to see their attorneys driving expensive cars, the typical dental patient resents such displays of success.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. But, I still believe that any entrepreneur should not drive their nicest car to work - just too risky.

Probably sound advice, but dependent I would imagine by business type (see attorney reference above). I sold my dental practice in 2014 and retired at 56. I no longer have to concern myself with patients seeing what I drive.

I am an orthodontist and own my own practice. Don’t drive it to the office though. Weekend car only.

Psychology of sales 101. Tell someone that their peers are doing it and they will follow. Unless the salesman sells many different marques how would he know what other dentists are buying?

Your employees and patients should never see your fancy car. I never drove my Ferrari to my clinic.

It's certainly a lot more fun (the F-Type) than is prepping a 3 unit FPD on a patient who can't open more than 10mm !!

Welcome.
