As an enthusiast who understands the increasing traffic and gradual deterioration of our road surfaces, I am the target market - moving away from performance sedans like my f80 m3 because they’re getting stiffer and harsher to drive daily

Also as an enthusiast I want a characterful motor/drivetrain, I could not think of anything more boring than getting out of a history of performance sedan ownership to be lumped with a 4 cylinder or diesel wallpaper suv

i draw the line distinctly at not using them on track, I’ve got an issue with this new ‘built for track day launches to impress YouTube vloggers’ mentality from manufacturers as it’s ruining cars and making them too hard on street

if you buy a trackhawk or f pace svr and take it to track, you’ve bought the wrong car

driving this trackhawk around is just so effortless, plenty of power, smooth auto trans, and I don’t have to watch the road surface like a hawk dodging potholes or clenching my teeth when I see some broken tarmac ahead - suspension travel and 45 series rubber is a beautiful combo

We have a F-Type-S and a F-Pace-S, so I driven a direct comparison between the models, as well as the SVR version. The F-Pace is no threat to a F-Type in overall performance and handling, but it will dust 97% of what's out there. I'm not personally tempted by the XE alternative - I prefer either the pure performance option, or the SUV functional option.

If you're looking for more comment/insights from F-Pace SVR owners, check out the forum below. It has a lot more activity than the F-Pace branch here.

My wife has the itch to upgrade, but she's a lacrosse mom - not a soccer mom.

It's bloody cheap, too, which I have to say tempted me. I could buy one here well tricked up for $170K driveaway, which is half of the cost of a new F Type SVR, and pretty much what a 3 year old F Type SVR would cost. So on the value equation you are getting a lot more kg per $ and a lot more usability, with a trick interior (though sorry to say the centre stack looks meh compared to the new XE, I'm guessing that will be tidied up in the next model year), with the downside being less looks and attention for those attention ****** among us (points at self).

I positively love it. Still below 1000 miles but the interior is amazing and the power helps too. A tad of a stiff ride for an SUV. Going with 22" didn't help... but again... the interior is amazing

One quick note on the ride. By default, the car is set for "normal load" and the tire pressure is set at 43 PSI. But, if you're not carrying large loads, you can drop that to 34 PSI. It makes a bit difference.
