Any funny bystander reactions to share?

A Michigan State Trooper pulled up right next to me at a gas station. I'm driving my Ftype so obviously I had been driving quite spiritedly. As his partner filled up their car, he sauntered over. I greeted him as he kept staring. "Man, I've seen pictures of this but I've never seen one!" He peeks in the dash (my top was down). "I noticed that the speedo goes to 200. How fast does it go?" "Its governed to 186 but the new ones are even faster." He persisted. "Man, this is the nicest car I've ever seen in my life!". And finally, "How much was it?" Haha, I had a fan.

It was interesting driving into the LL Bean campus on Sunday, possibly the busiest day of the year for them. An absolute zoo, thousands of people. With the top down, creeping along with a convoy of 11 F-types, I couldn't hear what people were saying, other than I heard 'Jaguar' from many different directions.
The tollbooth guy at I-95 said 'Geez, are you guys having a convention?'

All in all lots of dropped jaws everywhere we went, big smiles and thumbs up. Only negative reactions came from a stoner kid walking with his gang who gave us the finger, a Prius who went out of their way to cut us off and the lady who broke the police blockade when we passed and then got pulled over for a well deserved talking to.

As a backdrop, I live in Chapel Hill and my license plate reads "UNC." The special plate, especially combined with the F-Type, leads many to wonder just what special position I must have with the University.
So, I'm driving down Franklin St and a couple of guys pull up beside me and ask if I'm Dean Smith's son.

I have had my f type r for 2 weeks and have gotten positive responses. One of which was a woman bending over on my window claiming to love my car and offering to trade. I have also gotten a man shaking his head in disapproval and asking what's it like to have rich parents as well (i look rather young for my age). For the most part its been 99% positive reviews.
I drive the FTR coupe, but I feel like I got more attention in by boxster s from women. More men like the FTR.

Meanwhile, to his chagrin, he gets many more comments when he drives my F-Type than he does on any of them.

I think you'll always get more interaction in a 'vert - from both men and women. You just come across as more accessible with an open cockpit. My son gets more comments when he drives his Spyder than he does on his 911 Turbo or GT3.

As our 12 car column rolled into busy Freeport I got to hear a lot of the comments. They ranged from "oh my God", "how many are there?", "those are amazing", "love your car", "sh$t look at those!". Also "what's with that grey one, it's too freaking loud...". Ok I made that last one up.

2) Even if you hadn't made that comment up Marko, there's no way you would have heard anyone making any comment any way. For...obvious reaZons.
3) Looking forward to a complete write-up the way only DJS can do.

But I do like that "rim-shot."
*Perhaps you're just throwing out any figure merely for illustrative purposes? Or perhaps you've included a full dinner along with your lobster? Baked potato, corn on the cob - slathered in creamery Maine-made butter and a sprinkle of Maine sea salt - finished off with Wild Blueberry Pie. The sort of pie we might have during the 2018 Jaguar Wild Blueberry Blast?

Based on my limited sampling of Mid Coast blueberry pies, I highly the recommend the pie at Morse's on Baileys Island or the pie at Judi's Country Store on US 1 South outside of Wiscasset.
Just thinking a line of F-Types driving the winding road into Baileys Island to Lands End would be a sight on the 2018 Jaguar Wild Blueberry Blast!
