Default Any info on 2017 pricing yet?

I'm looking purchasing a manual 2017 F-Type if I can come to an agreement with a Jaguar dealership. Is there any news on when the 2017 pricing will be available and when they'll be available for configuration.

Keep in mind that nothing has changed for 2017. You'd probably get a better deal on a 2016.

Dealers have the pricing info, but it's not public yet. A few of the options went up.

My 2017 has a build date of Feb 19.

As for the manual, it seems like all the buttons that are on the center console are on the same side as the driver for the 2017. For us that drive the manual, it's hard to see the auto start stop/active exhaust button, especially in 5th gear.

Interesting. My dealer said that they don't expect any information until after February. However, the sales representative that I've been talking to is not very aggressive at all. Would I be correct to assume that by "pricing info" you mean invoice and MSRP pricing? When did you receive your build date? Seems like I might have to walk my dealership through the process.

Yes, but it's near impossible to find a manual. Plus, a 2016 would give me an additional year of depreciation when I go to sell it.

Yes, they had an MSRP guide that was subject to change at the time, but everything was so close to 2016 that it is unlikely to be tangibly different. I don't care about a difference of a few hundred dollars based on the total price tag. Won't change my lease much at all.

They entered my order last week sometime. Changes will be locked on 1/26 if I recall correctly.

That would be nice. The buttons on the far side of the shifter are a minor annoyance, but they *are* an annoyance. I've been tempted to stick some bumps on them to find them by feel, since they're not only obscured, but flush.

There are 4 manuals in stock at JLR of Annapolis, which is an easy day's drive from GA.

New Jaguar F-TYPE at Jaguar Annapolis Serving Baltimore, Towson, Maryland, MD

This is consistent with the 6% sales numbers we've seen vs. the 10% MT sales that Jag was shooting for. close to 10% of the my16's listed on cars.com are MTs.

I'm wanting a V6 S, but thanks for trying.

Yes, I'd guess those are pretty much special order only, as the average manual buyer these days tends to want things pretty basic.

I'd really like a V8 manual, but that's not going to happen.

It's definitely not going to happen considering how poor (sadly) manual F-Type sales have been. Other than the C7, there's really no demand for that type of two-seater these days.

+1. Certainly not from the factory. However, it's not beyond my imagination that some third party will eventually start throwing TR-6060s into '15 Rs at some point.

I doubt there's room for that box in the F-Type chassis. The wizards in Bowling Green install it just in front of the rear axle, and also achieve 50/50 weight balance with that little design feat.

The 17's will come with solar attenuating Windshields which is nice, I have this on my RRS, it does make a difference. The only downside is that Toll Transponders won't work, and apparently Radar detectors either, although I can't verify this because I don't have one.

Well that's horrible. I have a fast pass like device for my garage at work and a radar detector.
