Also much of the depreciation is in the first year or two. I bought my SVR 2 yrs old and at about half of sticker. Doesn't seem to have lost much in the 2 years I have had it.

I love MB for what they are, extremely well built and reserved in design but it's nothing unique. I really want an Aston M but worried about the maintenance cost and it might not be a reasonable daily driver. The F Type just made sense for me and what makes it special is hard to describe and/or compare. Another member mentioned on another post that a 911 is a highly precise instrument while the F type has that something that you can't explain when you get into it. I love the layout of the interior however the parts could be better but as soon as you hear the exhaust and take it around a corner, there's not much that compares.

AMG MB are amazing but to me nothing unique. F type is in a league of it's own.
