Anyone tried to retrofit the 2018 headlights or taillights yet?

People in UK are selling full LED conversion units for 14-17 models.

Other words or you need to send them set of 2018MY LED headlights which then they will "tweak" for you and resend or they can provide already "tweaked" headlights at ~2350GBP

I want to retro-retro fit, I mean if I have LEDs, I want to go back to HIDs. And I want to do this from a car to a car, I mean If I have a newer car and find older car willing to swap, is that possible?

My small contribution to this thread: Wiring diagram for MY15 F-Type headlights. I am not sure how high level this is as I am sure there re more than 4 wires, lol. Although these may be the critical ones.
This wiring should be the same for all MY until 2017. The diagram shows four main signals for the Xenon headlamps. I will try to hunt down the 2018+ wiring diagram soon, it's late here and I am done for tonight

The main problems in fitting LED headlights are:
-on LED the DRL and direction indicators are driven by LIN, not by +12V. Can be fixed by modifying a CCF and a very minor wiring modification
-once LED fitted and wired the DRL, DI and main beam would work, but high beam won't, even if +12V is applied to a corresponding pin of a headlight
-LED headlights have 2 CAN buses - one is dedicated CAN between LH and RH headlight, another one goes to a HS-CAN of a vehicle.
-Once the HS-CAN is connected to a LED headlight - the headlight will stop working (no main beam, no DI, no DRL, no comms on a CAN bus) untill it is fitted to a original vehicle.

Yep. The LED headlights receives incorrect data and shuts down. So, some sort of a CAN adapter is needed, but the development of such a things is a pain.
As for me - in case of mine XJ i decided to fit a bi-led lenses in original headlights (AFS working, everything working) and, as a result, i have a much better light than face-lifted LED XJ. That would do a trick for a F-type too, so apart from a look/design its a good way for those who wants just better light.
