Default Anyone try the jag madness front camera?

Wondering if anyone has tried the Jag madness front camera for their F-type:

https://jagmadness.com/start-shopping/interior-upgrades-jaguar?product_id=300018030

i’ve run dash cams on all my cars before, and always hardwired them in, but this looks like a clean solution that wouldn’t require me to go tapping wires in the footwell. But I can’t really find any reviews on them.

interested to know if anyone here has tried them and what the quality is / how usable it really is.

Looks like the same unit as https://fitcamx.com/products/fitcamx...ar-f-type-x152 Even the stock photos used is same-ish.

Unsure which came first, but there is a thread on the fitcamx: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...sembly-272847/ and can find some paid reviews on youtube. I am thinking about getting one for it's clean look and easy install. Helps that it is on Amazon for me to return if I don't like it.

Camelflage, I purchased the FFC from Jag Madness and it is the same camera system as the other one mentioned. The only negative I found with the camera system is not actually with the camera. It is a design issue from the mounting location of the camera. It mounts on to the existing rearview mirror, making it a seamless install. However, when you mount it here, it disables the auto dimming lights and the automatic windshield wipers features. If you do not mind this, then I highly recommend the camera. My wife and I wanted those features on this car and figured we would just run another FFC.

There are several videos on youtube to help in the installation but it is very easy and rather quick. Hope this helps.

Good callout! I thought it was just the auto-dimming feature. Did not realize it impacts the automatic windshield wipers. I don't think its a huge issue over the benefits the camera provides in a sleek and stock looking package.

They spent most of the video shoving the wires in the back of the rear view mirror housing.

Man, definitely a nice clean install. Price is not bad either. Will definitely keep this in mind.

There isn't one. You may have front parking sensors though.
