Default Apparently...

...an "Infra Red Reflective Windscreen" is now an option.

Being made of glass, all windscreens do this?

So: Is it just that the Marketeers at JLR really are that deceitful, or did the engineers concerned look at the blank faces on the Marketing side of the table and decided to have some fun...

the windshield is actually coated in a special chemical that blocks infrared better. Those of us who have it hate it because it prevents all radar detector from working inside the car.

E Z Pass transponder box, will not work from inside the car. You have to hold it onto the glass moon roof and that's a hit or miss communicating with the toll booth or roll down your window and stick your arm out the window hold EZ PASS box in your hand like a buffoon. This is my experience driving over the George Washington Bridge. Not good !

It wasn't an option in 2017. It was mandatory. Is it really optional in 2018?
