Armrests asymmetrical by design?

I just noticed my passenger side dash is not stitched with red stitching like the rest of the interior. Maybe their QC is lacking and use whatever they have “on hand” to complete the car.
Even if a repair was completed during the first ownership nobody should except the new piece not matching the original.

My car is a 2017 S AWD.
I am the second owner of the low mileage car and have a very reliable source to assure me that no repairs were made. And after very close scrutiny on my part, feel the arm rests have never been off. Of coarse nothing is for sure but I seriously doubt this is something that occurred after the assembly line.
I am not bothered by this, but find it an interesting anomaly. Maybe it is like a rare coin with a striking flaw.

There is evidence to the effect that this has been the case. My own experience was that the door seal on both sides was affixed in all places but one, and the top bolts securing the headlight on one side fell out. I also was delivered an F-Type V6S/R/AWD, w/6MT, if one adds up all the badging. Those things should have been caught, but are minor in the grand scheme of things.

It's not only Jaguar that suffers from this type of glitch. My experience with various automakers over many years (new company car every two years, for decades) could provide MANY stories...
In Jaguar's defense, there are SO many possible variations. Take a look at this Image search of F-Type interiors. jaguar f type interior photos - Google Search
I don't think I've ever seen a modern car with mismatched materials installed from the factory.
