Forgive me if this has been covered, but I just found this on my F-type. Going into audio settings, I can pick from the following:
1. Stereo
2. Surround
a) Dolby
b) Meridian
c) DTS

Then of course can change bass, treble, sub settings.

I never knew this was there. Which surround choice do you guys use? What's the difference?

Surround with DTS is my preffered setting. I think that gives the best result, but this is subjective and may also depend on what kind of audio source you use most.

DTS (more low end), dead center, fade 3 clicks back, bass up 2 clicks, sub up 3, treble up 1. I like my EQ slightly V-shaped.

Many of us are struggling with the audio quality of 770w system. I find radio works best in straight stereo. CDs in DTS. The DTS, Dolby and Meridian process the signal by sending different frequencies to different speaker, thus surround sound. Try the different settings by switching between them while playing from the same source(radio, cd, etc,) with the same song to hear the differences. If you can't tell the difference, pick one and forget about. You will be the lucky person to not bear the cross of musical madness.

I toggle between them all. Once a song comes on and gives the slightest hint of anything, I switch and one of them works and sounds great. Interesting way to look at things, but there are ways around things, without me dropping the listening quality that I love!

Good Luck,
