Default AWD R Coupe official

AWD R Coupe official-image-2960869336.jpg

Have to say I wish they had this earlier. I have the RWD arriving in December. I'm still going to take delivery since I don't know when this one will go on sale.

Cool. AWD has never really interested me but looking forward to the reviews to see how it changes the dynamics of the car.

I don't think it'll add too much to the price, maybe $5k-$7k. For me, AWD is for

1. rain/snow conditions, if you live in those areas. doesn't apply much to california.

2. increased traction for better lap times. it'll be nice to see the AWD get better magazine lap times but for my driving it doesn't really matter. so better traction isn't on my list of wants/needs.

5-7k would be nice, but this is the same car that charges 12k for cc brakes. I'm saying 10-15k more lol

Interesting to see that the range will grow

"The addition of all-wheel-drive is one of a number of performance enhancements to the award-winning Jaguar F-TYPE range which will grow from six to 14 derivatives in 2015 - the full range will debut at the LA Auto Show on 19 November. "

They just got this done in time for the worst of the snow season in the northern hemisphere.
Which they will need to sustain sales of a sports car.

BTW for those shopping for used F Types there may be some good deals on the come as buyers in colder climes trade out for the AWD.

Really impressed how fast jaguar expanded the f type range.

Not sure which version of the v8 I would get even though I live in the ny metro area..

AWD will be a very popular option throughout the range.

Jaguars move to AWD throughout its range has been a very smart move.

The upcoming new 3 series competitor and upcoming cuv are both additional feathers in the cap of jaguar as it continues to grow to new heights..

I'll still wait for a lower more powerful (650hp?) R-S GT version with huge carbon wing!
