You may just need to reset radio stations if anything
You can charge it without disconnecting, these vehicles are connected to a battery support unit while in the showroom without disconnecting the battery.
There will be a ground stud and a power point under the hood/bonnet

Otherwise, you can connect the charger directly to the battery. Just make sure you connect the ground cable from charger to a ground on the chasis in the boot/trunk area, not directly to the ground cable on the battery itself

The caution may be lest you use a high-power charger and fry the circuitry. Use a CTEK battery maintainer and you should be fine to let it charge in place. You can connect either at the engine connections or at the battery/trunk, as mentioned above. The CTEK's have a pigtail that you can connect and leave in place for easy use in the future. (You can even get an extra pigtail, if you wish.) See the "How To" sticky thread for instructions & pictures.
Meanwhile, if you DO disconnect the battery, nothing bad happens, but you'll need to reset the window auto up/down (Again, read through the How To)
