To store my cars, all I do for the tires is inflate to maximum pressure indicated on the side wall. Then lower back to recommended in the spring. I have never had a flat spot. Today's tires will work out any flat spots within a few minutes of driving anyway.

Your post just reminded me that's likely what they do at the factory. Right after driving my car home from the dealer, one of the first things I did was to check the tire pressures, which were near the sidewall limit (over-inflated for driving), and released enough air to get them to the recommended driving spec.

Of course, the dealer should have done that, but didn't.

I agree 100%. If I put my car on jack-stands, I do it so the weight is still on the suspension.

It's for the battery charger/maintainer. The battery is under the trunk floor.

Since he's storing the car for several months through the cold Canadian winter, it's smart to keep the battery charged.

I'm shooting for Thanksgiving weekend to put mine to sleep for the winter. Last year, it was Thanksgiving through late March.
