Looks great. Did you do the VAP tune also? Is the ride harsher?

Thanks! No tune yet. Ride seems about same so far, but just drove home from shop today, so I haven't had a chance to really push it.

This before and after pictures are excellent for determining drop look!

It's amazing what a difference a couple of subtle changes can make.

Its interesting to note how the "nose slightly down" rake of the car is changed by lowering to a more "even" posture.

My H&R lowered the rear by 1.5" and the front only 1.25. It looks like the VAPs also lower the rear more.

Funny, I planned to take a bunch of measurements- front and back clearance from top of tire to fender lip, front scrapy thing to ground, etc... then I just got so excited I forgot all about it. At least I remembered to grab some quick pics.

Not really. After a spirited drive today I love the cornering feel. The rest of the time it didn't seem much different... but if anything, a wee bit softer when straight and flat (could be my imagination) - perhaps like new basketball shoes made me jump higher as a kid :-)

Gentleman,

I would like to ask who did you all use to install your Springs. I'm considering ordering the lowing springs with the spacers for the wheels but I'm not sure which auto repair shop to trust.

I just used my local mechanic shop that's been around for 40 years and stands behind their work. It's a simple job and just requires a lift and someone with experience who prides themselves in their work.

+1.
I tried to fit lowering springs to my old XFS myself, but for the life of me I couldn't get the front strut/spring assemblies out.
I ended up taking the car to my tried and trusty mechanic of several years and he did it without too much trouble and for a good price.
The only other suggestion I have is to see if you can remove and refit the side trim panels in the rear/trunk yourself, as this is needed to access the top mounting nuts for the rear strut/spring assemblies. I'm guessing it's a bit labour intensive, so if you can do it yourself you will probably save quite a few $.

Ran into Gregg today and saw his F Type. It looks even better in person with the lowering springs and spacers and is really noticeable next to a stock F type.

Thumbs up

Looks great, especially from the rear shots ... Maybe a picture illusion but appears to have added a little negative camber?

The improved straight ahead ride may not be your imagination ... Good quality progressive springs will (as I understand it), only be firmer when you need them, I.e. When cornering, braking, accelerating hard ... Otherwise should be no worst and maybe, as you can feel, even better in 'cruise mode'

Update after installing Michelin PS4:
On some of our fabulous California freeway transition sections (overpasses, etc.) i was getting a tiny bit of rubbing on passenger rear when subjected to deep/sudden drops at highway speed. With the OEM P-Zeroes i did not have rubbing at all, so the same spec PS4s are apparently a tad bit wider or somehow bulgier (my new word) than the P-zeros.

No damage to tire other than a little marring on the edge of the tread.

After discussing with @unhingd i replaced the rear 17mm spacers with 15mm spacers and it seems to have taken care of it. I can't really tell the difference visually between the 17mm and 15mm.

Yep, I have VAP springs, new MPS4S and 15 mm spacers all round, and no rubbing whatsoever.
