Default Best of France and Italy Car Show

For those forum members from Southern California, this Sunday morning is the Best of France and Italy Car Show at Woodley Park in Van Nuys in the Sepulveda Dam Basin. It is one of the best car shows in SoCal all year with hundreds of cars including a contingent from Ferrari, Lamborghini, De Tomaso (including my Pantera), Lancia, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Renault, and many others. Jay Leno always shows up in something extraordinary and outrageous. It's free to spectators and if you've got a French or Italian car sitting at home in the garage, why not bring it out for others to see. And if you come, stop by the bright red Pantera sitting with a bunch of them and introduce yourself. Hope to see some of you there, it is a wonderful show.

RickyJay52,
That is a beautifully modified Pantera. I love some of the mods they did to the interior and things like the front underspoiler. But, I still prefer the non-wide bodied (no flared fenders) Pre L cars. Like the one you've attached, my car also has the rear bumper removed and shaved smooth, and I think that really accents the fabled aggressive rear end of the Pantera. Any time you're out in Los Angeles, please feel free to contact me, you're welcome to take it out for a day. Not as smooth as an F-type, but still a lot of fun and even louder than an F.

I might take a trip out to L.A. just to take you up on your most generous offer. Thank you very much. I do have some wonderful memories of being out there many times and many years ago—I had quite a few relatives living there years ago as well as a friend or two—and, how can I possibly forget, ALL the beautiful girls (boy do I have stories.) The other wonderful memory I have, as a kid growing up in Brooklyn, NY (among countless but germane to you), was a neighbor who was a rather famous theatrical producer who had a stunning Pantera [surely bought new] in bright yellow. Needless to say it stood out for all the kids to revel in; although I also ‘reveled’ in and with his daughter.

Thank you again for your offer...maybe one day.

Sorry, but since this is YOUR thread, thought you might want to know, or already do, about this?

As long as we’re talking Panteras - at the Gilmore Museum in Michigan...

Just BEAUTIFUL! Hard to believe we're looking at a car designed 50 years ago this year, it still looks so contemporary.
