Default Best Way to get additional power out of 2014 V6?

I heard about the upper and lower pulley. What other parts are there?

Who has the best and cheapest tunes?

There are several tuners out there but very few to trust. Most on this forum have worked with VAP will success and they seem to stand behind their work. Between the pulleys and the tune that will mostly maximise your increase. Other stuff has suspect value or just small additional improvement.

Yes, I had the VAP pulley and tune done my V6S a few years ago, it makes a massive difference with no adverse effect that I cant tell, it really improves the car. The 340hp unit is nice, the 380 is quite a bit sharper, and the 400 is better still, but the engine with pulley and tune is doing 450hp and it is quite wild, but controllable.

Are you sure you want the cheapest tune?

Joking aside - we have tuned orders of magnitude more of these engines than anyone else out there. Pretty deep dive into how to make them work well, and safely. On a V6 I would not consider an upper pulley unless it has the griptec coating like ours - too much possibility of slippage. If you're in California and have access to E85, with upper & lower pulley + E85 file upgrade we can get you to 553BHP & 494ft/lbs.

Can you switch programs with the VAP tune? On the fly or only when stopped? Do you have an E85 tune for the R, or do you have a 100 Octane option?

E85 sounds like a great idea.

Ultimately, I'd like it with the ability to identify the fuel and adjust the tune on the fly.
This way I can buy any fuel and any resulting mixture will be tuned for and provide maximum power.

The F-Type DME might be too old to get this done.

I have not been able to find information on what the power on upper, lower, and both pulleys is.

Any idea?

Go to the VAP site here: https://www.velocityap.com
Then follow the bouncing ball - Jag, F-Type, V6 etc.
From memory there is no figure on the site for upper pulley only as that is pointless on the V6, as the OEM V6 SC pulley is already nearly as small as you can go.

Upper and lower pulleys+VelocityAP tune is 475HP and 470 torque. The traction control lights comes on quite often now

We do not have on-the-fly map switching available. I'm confused, maybe you can clarify for me which engine you have - you're asking here about the 'R' but your post mentions the V6?

I threadjacked a bit, maybe should start a new thread. I have 2016 5.0 R, which it sounds like you don't have these options for yet but are working towards it. Need a test mule?

Assuming that you have the V6 - on our site you can make selections for adding the crank pulley, and adding the upper pulley, and your flashing method. Once that's completed the product description will change to show you the power output for that combination, as well as displaying the relevant dyno graph:
https://www.velocityap.com/product/3...26-ecu-tuning/

In short, 416, 450, 475 BHP and 352, 440, 470 ft/lbs for tune, +lower, +upper respectively. If you want to add an E85 file on top of that, 553BHP & 494ft/lbs: https://www.velocityap.com/product/a...5-tuning-file/

For the R, we have upper & lower pulley options and pump fuel tuning up to 660BHP & 630ft/lbs: https://www.velocityap.com/product/j...ace-svr-xj-xf/
Also trans tuning etc. E85 will be available in future for the 5.0L but it requires fuel system hardware upgrades.
