You want the wing to be impacted by clean air for less buffeting at speed, so typically you see functional wings raised up relatively high in order to either be slightly below or just in-line with the roof height.

I'm not an aero expert, but ... I'd expect this to make the car understeer badly at the limit unless they also did something to increase front grip, right? Plus, I don't see significant negative camber in the alignment like you would expect for a tracked car that might actually benefit from more downforce. My guess is that this was done just for the look.

It's like a train wreck...I can't look away--but I should. With all due respect, (and no judgment) the original poster's location is "Colorado". (And I recognize that this image COULD have come from anywhere in the known world, but...) NOW, it makes sense. The vast majority of the country, certainly here in Michigan, looks at Colorado as the "High State". After all, Denver is the "Mile High City" and CO was among, if not, the first to legalize marijuana recreationally. So, this ridiculously HIGH spoiler is understandable--one would have to be high to think this looked good.

Probably a little too much enthusiasm for me and I am quite the wing fan. But more power to the owner for making the car special.
Unfortunately the height of the wing would mean I couldnt open the boot in my garage to get the shopping out. I wish I had a more manly reason for having to decline it (eg "it would bump my punching bag" or "it would make it hard to strap timber to the roof of the car") but one must be a realist, for me it is more "i would have to take the groceries out before I drove into the garage which means parking the car on the slope then faffing about and taking stuff inside then starting the car again and parking it which sounds like an absolute PITA".
