Hi, you will find at least some of the badges on ebay in black, but when I got the leaper from ebay in black the cat itself was thin compared to the stock one and I wasnt that keen on the quality of the black "S" badge either. In the end I removed all badges and sprayed the leaper black and put it back on with silicone, following OzXFR's suggestions in a thread. You could also try black plastidip which some people have great success with. I didnt have success with it on badges but I did spraying a spoiler for my daughter's car.

you should know, once the jaguar comes off to put it back on its all free hand, there are no screw holes or anything, its up to your own ability to align it perfectly and to look oem. and from my experience, the factory placement is very weird and difficult to get it looking right.

you just put a tape line underneath and on one side to form template on the car, then remove oe badge with fishing line and heat gun
itd literally take you longer to mask, add all those plasti dip layers, then painstakingly peel off the edges
it actually took me longer to type this reply

I did it by removing the badges and then wrapping the panel so I could not save a template. was very frustrating putting them back properly.

I dipped my badges and I am mostly satisfied with the quality. It has more of a texture than I would like, and it was difficult to get a clean edge on the very thin chrome ring around the circle in the ‘S’ badge. I bought, but didn’t use the clear coat spray.
Would I be interested in oem black badges? You bet. But there isn’t a “S” trim anymore, so I wouldn’t be able to get a complete set in black...
