Cool animations. Sounds like they got rid of what used to be called 'High Performance', 380mm/325mm (what I have.) This was standard on the V6S, along with 19" wheels.

Yep, I came to the same conclusion a couple of months ago and I posted about it somewhere around here.
Seems like a good move to me, the 380 mm front and 325 mm rear set up always was a mismatch that just didn't look right IMHO, one reason why I upgraded my rears to 376 mm.

Do they really charge more for black just depending on the model??
Sorry, I've been in the automotive industry for 21 years...not everyone knows the terminology.

The "window sticker" you see on new cars that has the MSRP, EPA fuel economy, options, Parts Content sourced from where-ever...that's called the "Monroney Label", as there was a time when those weren't required by law, and dealers could state whatever asking price they wanted. A senator with the last name Monroney pushed a law that required all new cars to have what non-carbiz people call "the window sticker"....or Monroney Label.

Edit: JgaXkr explained the monroney and posted the link.

I took a pic of my 2022's Monroney (window sticker)

Sorry it's sideways...but the red calipers are a $500 up-charge on mine.

Holy moly is that a big pic.... :/

From the brembro UV rotor site...data are hard to find....

376 mm rotor 11.3 KG

325 mm rotor 7 kg

4.3 kg is about 9.5 lbs.

The 380's in the front fwiw are 17.7 kg.

Ilyushin79:
You should check out "Build Your Jag" and enter the specs for your car.
I have been running several models both coupe and vert, and for all the 2022's I have seen, the black are $550 more than the red which appaers to be the base standard color.
Perhaps you were mischarged??

When I was "building my jaguar" on the jag site in december, it was an upcharge for the red calipers. The sales guy at a dealer that I was talking to at the time said if we ordered in Jan, we'd be looking at 2023...even tho the site is saying 2022, ordering an f-type now would be a 2023...

I'm wondering if that's the diff. Black will be an upcharge for 2023, but the site just still saying "2022" because that's what's on lots....when it's using 2023 build-out.

I know the site used to say in December that the red calipers were the upcharge for 2022's, and OEMs don't mess up the Monroney labels, so it wasn't an "accidental overacharge"

The difference is the model. Black is standard on the P450, whereas Red is standard on the R
