What is the most thing you cared about when buying the car?
For me because i live in Dubai, UAE i cared about the rarity of the car. This is a very rich country and many people have really expensive cars here so to have a rare car on the street gets a lot of attention
.
i want everybody to list the reasons why they bought the car. (i'm expecting a lot of "Exhaust"
)

I think all of the above and a few more things too.
To quote Car and Driver: "Jaguar has captured the emotion of the Sports Car: looks, presence, a thunderous soundtrack, ballistic performance and the ability to put you at the center of it all. Ultimately it's a car that gets under your skin and makes you smile"
That's why I bought it. It wasn't something as simple as just looks or sound or rarity.

I got my F-Type because after driving numerous cars of interest, it was the only one that "wowed" me. The look, the feel, the sound and performance attracted me. I still feel the same way after almost 2,000 miles and find myself constantly looking for excuses to go for a drive. “Soul” has been mentioned over and over this car has it. The exclusivity is an added bonus.
Couldn't agree more, the F-Type definitely makes me smile every time I accelerate and just always feels special!

No single factor, but if I had to rank them:
1. Looks
2. Rarity
3. Exhaust
4. Performance
I think from the rear it's the best looking car available south of $200K.
Coming from a couple of Porsches, I wanted something more unique/rare.
Exhaust note is amazing and allows you to have fun without driving it 100mph.
Performance is last on my list because if I cared about being the absolute fastest on track or in straight line there's plenty of other cars that can do it at much cheaper. Overall performance, the 911 and C7 both have the F-Type beaten. Don't get me wrong, I needed the R to be fast enough, but as long as you don't magazine race then it doesn't really matter if it's a tenth faster here or there.

I don't think you can put your finger on anything quantitative. There are plenty of choices that perform as well or better in the same price ranges as the various F-Type models. However, the car seems to have a certain "soul" that it's competitors lack.
In the "looks" department, it wins hand down as far as I'm concerned.
