"Brake" amber warning light

I'm getting this recurring, completely random, warning light along with the message that the parking brake and optional driving modes are not available. I cannot see any pattern and switching off the ignition and restarting the engine seems to clear the warning. The dealer was supposed to have corrected this but it's back. Before I make the trip to the dealership has anyone else gotten this message. I've double checked the brake fluid level and it's not the problem.

I would suspect an electronic issue as the parking system is likely more an electronic function and I don't believe it would be affected by brake fluid level, although I'm not positive.
My experience with dealers related to other cars, is that they usually reset the pcm system.. then if the complaint comes back, they then replace the affecting parts.
Hope you can get it fixed up without too much hassle.
Lawrence.
