Brake upgrades - PB Brakes
Hi all,
I saw on one of the Facebook F-Type groups that PB Brakes now does a BBK for the F-Type. A quick bit of Googling shows other car groups saying they are legit, and their website has a section showing results from motorsport competitions where their brakes/coilovers are being used.
The question is, has anyone ever had/tried a set of PB brakes and are there issues with swapping out the F-Types callipers for aftermarket stuff? My fear is the ABS getting upset or the torque vectoring no longer working correctly and causing a spin on track. They have some really nice looking options and it would be nice to buy in confidence, but I am also a bit worried of spending £5k, only to find they are no good
Thanks!

If anyone is looking for these BBKs, I've inquired about these with them at some length. Here are some findings:
.
I suspect the other owner on the XJ upgrade thread had the same issue, but brushed it off or didn't care for it.
.
- I'm not sure if they actually tested these on an actual F-Type before, or at least, the impression I got was they didn't test all of the options available.
- The upgrade for the standard sized rotor sizes should be fine, but it seems as you scale up to bigger brake calipers, it becomes an issue. For my particular inquiry, those with the 380mm front and 376mm rear, if you attempt to match the rotor size with their pot options available (closest is the 8 pot front and big 6 pot rear on their site). Due to the pot sizes, PB Brakes said customers have complained of a softer brake pedal feel, probably due to the master cylinder not pushing enough for the new caliper pots. They mentioned that the customer is still "pleased" with the product, but this may be subjective.
- Ideally, they should have a 6 or 8 pot front and a 4 pot rear for the bigger rotors, to make sure the brake master cylinder can compensate for it. Again, this is where I'm skeptical about whether they actually tested these or not. For comparison, the Brembo GT BBK (front only) for the F-Type 380mm front is a big 6-pot.
I suspect the other owner on the XJ upgrade thread had the same issue, but brushed it off or didn't care for it.
