Default Broken wire? Any ideas what its for?

Hey guys! Have a plug broken from a wire and no idea where it goes. I'm thinking a sensor that got taken off by the accident or something? All I have is a plug hooked up
and no wire hanging anywhere though... The wire goes under the right hand passenger door in the rocker panel.
Tech at jag didn't even seem to know sooo. You guys are my last resort. Thanks

Maybe the antenna for keyless entry? I haven't had that particular view so am not sure I'm oriented correctly.

Just a wild guess, but would it be for the optional lighted door sills?

Spot on.
How do I know?
Coz I DIY installed illuminated tread plates about three years ago.

So if this is it and I don't have the lighted door sills option, is the plug just capped off like this with no wires connected to it?

I found the diagram I was looking for and I'm sure Vik is right: it's for the tread-plate lighting.

I knew about the keyless entry antenna because mice chewed on the wires to mine.

Yes, the plug is capped off with no wires connected to it.
That plug is 100% the illuminated treadplate connector, no ifs, no buts, no maybes it just IS!

And it is, and has been for decades, Jaguar’s practice to fully wire the cars for every option and every market. The unused wires are left capped or covered if they are not to be used. A long way of saying that this is undoubtedly the wiring for the illuminated sill plates.
