I thought you were talking about the centre bar across the middle of the grill, and I think a few others did as well.
That lower splitter/deflector is fairly easy to replace, I replace mine over two years ago when the original piece was holed by some metal road debris.
No need to remove the bumper, instead you do it from underneath after removing the front plastic undertray and the seconday "box" undertray which sits under that.
It's held on by five (maybe six?) torx screws (T20?) along the back edge, you can just get to them from underneath with a longish screwdriver.
One main tip (thanks xdave!) is make sure you heat up the new piece with a hair dryer just before you fit it, as you need it to be "bendy" for the mounting holes to line up, it's too stiff when stone cold for this.
