If you are into tech then you will want the mid 2016 update or after. If you like RWD then you will need to be careful as I believe that in the US AWD came in during the '17 year (it was '18 here). Most people think pano roof is better (I agree) though I only open it in winter as it is still to obright in summer and spring. Dont be too concerned about bad traction in the RWD if it is running on P zeros, a lot of people (me included) change brands and notice huge improvement.
Obviously there have been some bad ones out there but my experience with Jags is that they are pretty good, I had an XKR (with the 5l supercharged engine in it) from about 40,000km to 60,000 and it was pretty much trouble free except for a headlamp module. All of my other Jags have been great except I had first year issues in my '08 XF. I have had the odd squeak in my F Type but I dont know whether it is because of mods so I cant be critical.
I'd try to get one with at least a year left on the warranty - if it had that I would be on it like a fat kid on a cupcake

I understand protecting the elderly, they are in pretty serious danger, but under age 60 or so have lower death rates than the common cold/flu, and the child death rate is zero world-wide. We should be braver than this.
The economic impact is unknown, but my daughter just called that she is stuck at already closed-for-the-year school, because the word on the street is that all NY airports are soon to be closed indefinitely. Its insane.
When we die from famine instead of the flu our mass-produced government headstones should say, "Safety First."

Howard, IMHO, an important element to look for in a used Jaguar is the included warranty. Mine is listed in Marketplace in case you'd be interested, and I am notifying you FIRST of my next price reduction. Let me know of any questions. BTW I did ship mine from the selling dealer so might be able to assist you there. A friend has shipped from the Port of Oakland. (707)688-1015

I admit I like Jaguars and have for many years, but I think I am still capable of independent thinking. The FT was not my first choice, but the MB dealer and I could not agree and I am pleased with my choice. NOW, The LC 500 is simply too much money for a car you will never give you pride of ownership. It looks like a 60K car at best, and that is giving it every benefit of the doubt. The design work is abysmal. I would hate to have to look at it every time I took the car out of the garage. Since you don't have a commute go with the FT. My free advice is just to be careful on how the FT is equipped. JLR improved the equipment level over time. I've always thought that JLR figured they could sell it on looks and sound at the beginning and then after the initial blush of sales started to civilize the thing.
