Default Bye bye p-zeroes, hello Michelin PS4s

Tomorrow the OEM p-zeroes are being retired after 20,379 miles.
I'm happy with the miles I got from them. Looking forward to ps4s - hopefully a bit more grip as others have mentioned

How did you get 20K miles out of them? Are you sure your parking brake isn't stuck engaged?

All 6 cylinders firing and parking brake not stuck. I'm pretty certain it is my amazing driving skills. :-)

lots of freeway miles probably helped a little

Nice. Wow, never noticed how much your old tires were worn. Never heard anything bad about the Michelins but I will be interested in what you think.

i think a few of those missing chunks came off last night when I went out to see what a burnout would be like (silly boyhood interests hard to shake). The road I found was not smooth.

I'd try to get at least another 3k out of those tires before the steel cord starts to show.

Wow you got allot of miles out of those P-Zeros. I made it to around 9800 miles before going to PS4S. I would recommend highly to get a 4-wheel alignment after installing the new tires. The PS4S completely transformed my driving experience. Very happy with the twisty road performance now.

I replaced my P Zeros at just over 15K miles. They were barely at the indicators on the rear and had plenty of meat left on the front. I don't feel bad about ditching them though. The 4S has more grip. No doubt. Enough more that I am re-evaluating my decision not to replace the springs.

I had just under 6,000 miles on yore P Zeros and then had a flat in one tire that could not be repaired. Swapped for the 4S' and love them. More comfortable and better performance.
