C&D has long been my favorite publication when it comes to writing articles because of their witty humor and extensive knowledge base. Their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are always the fastest because they love their 1-ft rollout but it's all good.

What do you all think? I believe it's a pretty fair assessment that even our most hardcore Jag fanboys should find pleasing.

Nice article. C&D used Jaguar’s 0-60 mph and 1/4th mile times. 4.4 sec 0-60 mph isn’t all that great and Jaguar has consistently been very conservative with its performance claims. Knock 0.5 sec off those times and I’d believe it. C&D reported a 4.3 sec 0-60 mph and 12.9 sec 1/4th mile on a 2015 F-Type S (380 hp V6) automatic when Jaguar claimed 4.8 sec 0-60 mph. Plus, my 2015 F-Type S RWD coupe could get 30-31 mpg on the highway if I didn’t exceed the posted speed by more than 5-mpg. I’m not a drag racer or racer of any sort but my 2022 Supra does a claimed sub-4 sec 0-60. If Jaguar can now afford to do anything, it needs to shed hundreds of pounds of weight from its F-Types.
