Having come to the F-Type only recently (just got a 2016 F-Type R), I am intrigued by the stylistic connections between Jaguar's C-X16 show car and the F-Type Coupe. I've been trying to track down original literature and posters on the C-X16, and find that the pickings are slim. I am curious if others may have spotted other items out there.
There are tons of freelance/privateer posters of the C-X16 for sale out there (uninteresting copies of the factory photos), but I have only been able to find one bonafide dealer showroom poster (identifiable by the scannable mobile phone code in the lower left corner):
I have also found a small hardcover 9-1/2" x 8-1/4" publicity book on the C-X16 published by Jaguar, with lots of photos and an included CD:
If anyone knows of anything else relevant, please share! I've been collecting Jaguar memorabilia for 40+ years (with lots of that currently for sale...wink, wink; nudge, nudge), but now I have gotten interested in modern times and started collecting in that direction. Surely the F-Type Coupe is an astonishing production version of what started as a show car...
Hi Tel,
Thanks for your very interesting reply. I immediately jumped on the ebay.ca poster, which appears to be the other half of the one that I already have.
Cheers,
Mike
